F.A.Q.'s

What do you charge?
I charge my clients on a sliding scale based on a variety of factors, such as event size, type, and proximity. For a free quote, send me an email with more information about your event.

How does payment work?
I prefer if you have cash or check ready at the event, but I can also take major credit cards via Square.

How far will you travel?
I prefer to keep work within a 40 mile radius of Half Moon Bay- that being said, I will definitely travel farther for the right event.

How many people can you paint?
I can paint a maximum of 15 faces per hour, but keep in mind that more time means more custom and detailed designs

The party is going so well- can you extend your time here?
Hopefully yes! I love entertaining people and if it is possible, I love to stay when requested and make sure everyone gets their face painted. Unfortunately, this is not always a possibility- I may have another gig to get to, or other obligations and commitments. Please request, but understand I can't make any guarantees without advanced notice.

Do you do anything else besides face painting?
Yes! I love art of all kinds. I also offer Caricatures for parties and events, as well as freelance commission work like pet or family portraits.

What's included in a Caricature package?
A caricature package includes travel to your event location with chosen medium and free-standing french easel. Mediums are graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, art marker, or for longer events or scheduled sittings, paint on canvas.

I don't see my question here
If I didn't answer your question here, please head over to the contact form and ask away! I will promptly answer any and all questions not covered here
What's included in a face painting package?
A face painting package includes travel to your location with the option of bringing a table and director's chair.  I use high quality, cosmetic grade face paints, glitters, and jewels from reputable brands such as Tag, Global, and Mehron. These paints are water-based, non-toxic, and hypo-allergenic.

Will you need anything from me?
The answer is most likely no, depending on the size of the event- all I ask for is a shady spot to set up my paints, as the sun makes them a little funky. If space allows for it, I have a 10x10 pop up canopy I can set up. I will also provide my own table and tall director's chair unless requested otherwise.

Will you make a special appointment for small groups, couples, or even an individual?
Absolutely! I still charge an hourly rate with a two hour minimum, but that just gives us extra time to make sure you look amazing!

What can I have painted?
In short, anything you want! I do have a portfolio of designs I usually bring to each event, but if you have a theme in mind for your party or event, please let me know in advance and I will create tailor-made designs to match your theme.

How do I remove face paint?
My face paints are all water based, and will come off with just a mild soap and warm water. Some of the darker colors can be more stubborn, but are easily removed with some baby oil on a cotton ball or make up remover.
